Humboldthain Club

Humboldthain Club occupies one of Berlin's most unusual spaces—a partially demolished WWII flak tower bunker in Wedding's Humboldthain park. Built in 1941-42 for air defense, the tower was bombed after the war and partially buried under rubble. Today, the club inhabits the protected monument at Hochstraße 46, blending history with Berlin's unstoppable underground culture.

The Space

The club opened in 2013 inside the former S-Bahn station building next to the bunker. The setting is wild: concrete industrial rooms connected to a sprawling outdoor garden filled with trees, wild plants, and table tennis tables. In summer, the terrace becomes the main draw—you can rave outside under open sky, surrounded by urban greenery. In winter, the focus shifts indoors to the raw club floors, where the bunker's heavy history still echoes in the walls.

The Sound

Humboldthain's programming is diverse but rooted in techno, trance, and house. Events like Berlin Bleibt Underground (BBU), Ausländerbehörde, and Bouncer Collective showcase local DJs alongside international acts. The vibe leans towards inclusive, unpretentious party culture—no luxury prices, no attitude, just music and energy. Some nights feature special sound systems, including Jamaican-style setups for bass-heavy events.

The Vibe

The door policy is relaxed—Humboldthain welcomes a broad crowd without Berghain-level scrutiny. Entry is affordable (often around €10), and the atmosphere is friendly and community-focused.
